For true boho style, don’t skimp on the jewellery! You can’t go wrong with an armful of bright bangles and a handful of rings.
Outdoor ceremony? Wrap up in a colourful fringed kimono if it gets a bit chilly!
Do you dare to go bare? The bohemian look embraces natural beauty, so minimal make up is the best way to go if you want to achieve the perfect boho bridal look. This also means less time spent getting ready and no annoying touch-ups during the day, leaving you to relax and enjoy your special day!
- Skimp on foundation altogether if you’re feeling confident enough! Instead, use a powder to control oil and lightly dust cheekbones with bronzer and blush to achieve a glowing complexion.
- Bring out your eyes with earthy tones such as khaki, brown and copper. A thin outline around your eyes can have a bigger impact than a full lid heavy eyeshadow. Finish with a light coating of mascara.
- Complete the look by combing and defining your brows. For lips, a touch of lipbalm or lipgloss is enough. If you do want to wear lipstick, apply with your finger rather than a brush to give a natural, just-bitten effect.
A middle parting and flowing locks really rock the flower child look…Messy styles will work fabulously on boho brides, and even dreadlocks are easily carried off! Incorporating some wildflowers or a full flower garland looks effortlessly chic too.
Why not rent a VW camper for the day for an authentic hippy feel!? Props are a great addition to photos too… guitars, old vinyls, peace signs etc. Colourful rugs and floor pillows also work a treat.
