Planning For Valentine’s Day At New House Farm Cumbria

New House Farm is ready for the most romantic time of the year – the wedding barn is looking as grand and decadent as ever, and the guesthouse beds are luxurious, cosy, and oh-so inviting in this wintry cold climate.

If you’re planning a memorable, romantic getaway to the Lakes, we’re situated right in the heart of Lorton Vale in the Lake District National Park. We’ve got vast and stunning scenery all around, with great walking routes for love-struck souls to take a stroll. If you’re thinking of popping the question, there may be no better place than in the cool shadow of a proud rural mountain, gazing down on the lake below while the sun is setting.

All of our rooms are individually decorated around the many period features that remain in them. There are open fireplaces and stone flagged floors, original oak beams to match our four poster oak beds, and all have top grade modern fittings to keep you comfortable during your stay. We also keep fifteen acres of land and we have a hot tub, should you wish to splash out with champagne under the stars.

And if you’re already planning a wedding, you’re sure to be imagining your dream venue…

At New House Farm we pride ourselves on our guests’ weddings being the stuff of dreams. We want our guests to live their dream on their special day, and we’ll do whatever we can to achieve that. Whether it be a traditional winter wedding in the barn, or a fun summer barbeque in the marquee; fine dining experience or finger-food buffet; a white dress or a burst of colour. We want to help you realise your vision and we’ll help you plan to do so.

We’ve got years of experience in weddings, through delivering on the day, but also in helping arrange the transport, choose the menu, recommend a photographer and more. We have access to everything you need, if you need it. Just let us know.
