Spring Wedding Colour Scheme Inspiration

It’s no wonder that choosing the colour scheme for your wedding is often a difficult decision – it will influence everything from your bridesmaids’ dresses to your décor, so you want to get it right! But don’t worry, one you’ve cracked your colour scheme, all the other stylistic decisions become a lot easier.

For Spring weddings, the warmer weather and transforming landscape opens up all sorts of possibilities for fresh colour combinations and fun themes. To help inspire you, we’ve included some our favourite Springtime wedding colour schemes and ideas below.

Blue and yellow NHF

Blue helps keep things traditional, whilst yellow adds a burst of sunshine, perfect for a Spring wedding! There’s lots of variations you could try, such as soft lemon and duck egg blue, teal and citrine, or navy and mustard. White accents help break up the colours and give your decor a nautical feel.

Flowers: hyacinths, bluebells, daffodils, sunflowers, asters, chrysanthemums.

Mint, Pink & Beige

This feminine trio of colours sets the tone for a luxurious, ultra-romantic celebration. However, if you’re not keen on pink we think soft purples such as lilac would work just as well. Decorate tables with feminine accessories such as birdcages, mirrors and pearls.

Flowers: tulips, cabbage roses, succulents, poppy pods, hydrangeas, baby’s breath, dusty miller

Burgundy, Orange & Cream

Orange adds a playful pop of colour, whilst cream accents helps keep the burgundy from being too heavy for Spring.  These colours look great with bronze and natural wood, so try incorporate these materials into your table settings and decorations for a vintage, rustic feel.

Flowers: dahlias, mixed berries, ranunculus, anemones, tulips
